Pro Cyclist Toms Skujins explains his favored feature in INSCYD: visualization of lactate recovery and lactate accumulation
My name is Toms Skujins. I ride for Cannondale-Drapac.
One of the metrics I really found interesting the first time I was looking at INSCYD closely was how lactic acid is thrown out of the body, how efficiently you can actually get rid of it.
For me, to get rid of lactic acid faster it is better to ride at around 280 to 300 watts than to just cruise at [inaudible] watts, because the muscle is still working and it is getting rid of the lactic acid.
